Should have been posting all along. But I wasn't. This thing from the very beginning has been quite an adventure. Right now I'm still in the thick of it, trying to get paper work together before I run out of time. I should have listened to Ben and made sure I had everything in hand before I even started this process, but I'm criminal about rushing into things and that's exactly what I've done! And that's alright. Whoever else is interested in teaching in Korea, I can tell you I've found just about everything that one can do incorrectly, so I'm here to save the rest of the world from making the same mistakes. . .at least the rest of South Carolina.
And I don't even have my Visa yet! So much more to learn and share to come, I'm sure!
But, right now I sit with 47 days remaining and papers in the mail. It's been an interesting experience just to have so many important things be completely out of my hands. I've learned that I'm actually quite the control freak (and, to be honest with you, South Carolina state offices have not proven that to be a flaw in my case) :-) but I'm very confident that everything will pull together and in the end I'll feel foolish for ever worrying at all.
